There have only been 2 reported accidents since implementing FleetMode into U-verse’s cell phone safety policy in June 2015. U-Verse is pleased with the results and is extending the pilot to 33,406 more U-verse vehicles, with the goal of expanding to 70,000 vehicles by the end of 2016.

Install FleetMode Driver 4/27/2017 Install FleetMode Driver Step 1: Find your invitation to view U-verse’s cell phone safety policy and pledge to drive safely. Reply “Accept.” and make note of the confirmation code in your reply. Step 2: Open the FleetMode Driver to get started. The app will be pre-installed on your phone. Step 3: Enter your confirmation code and select “Done” to set up your device.

4/27/2017 Auto-Reply Respond to friends, family and managers safely while on the road with Auto-Reply. FleetMode Driver allows each user to set up a customized auto-reply. The auto-reply will be sent when the vehicle is in motion, and it is not safe to use a cell phone. The driver will receive notification of any calls, text messages, etc. when the vehicle is stopped.

4/27/2017 Emergency Calls FleetMode allows for emergency calls to 911 while the app FleetMode is active. Also, 911 emergency callback is always allowed while FleetMode is in use. At a manager’s discretion, a quick dial list for easy, safer dialing on the road is available.

4/27/2017 Settings The Settings tab allows you to decide what driving events will generate text notifications to managers such as: -Disabled FleetMode Driver -Disabled FleetMode Driver Auto-Mode -Call or text 911 -Disable GPS -Disable Bluetooth -Text while driving -Phone call while driving -Phone accessed while driving -Etc. Safety Policy information can also be updated here, as well as Emergency Call and auto-reply settings.

Reports -Go to the Reports section of the Dashboard. 4/27/2017 Reports -Go to the Reports section of the Dashboard. -Reports can be searched for a by a specific: -Event -Date -User -Event type Reports are filtered by the items in the left column of the report screen.

4/27/2017 Fleet Messaging -Fleet Messages are for sending messages to your team or specific team members. -Orange icons are vehicles which are driving. Blue icons are stationary vehicles. The color of the dot to the right of the team member's name correlates with the vehicle. -Fleet Messages are only sent when the driver’s vehicle is not in motion, and it is safe to read and respond to the message if necessary. Do not send messages requiring an immediate response.

4/27/2017 Fleet Messaging -To send a message to a larger group of individuals, create a fence around the area of the team members you’d like to contact. Follow these steps to create your “fence” and send a mass message: -Pick a point on the map to. establish a starting point. -Pick another point on the map to begin the fence. -Pick another point on the map to continue the fence. -Pick additional points to continue the fence. -Pick the original starting point to "close" the fence. -If someone within the fence needs to be deselected, simply click on the individual under the team member column. -Select the "Clear Map" button to deselect everyone.

Start an Accident Investigation for a Team Member 4/27/2017 Start an Accident Investigation for a Team Member -Go to the Team section of the dashboard. -Select the individual in the left column and then select the Triangle icon "Accident Report" from the top right. -The default period will be the current date, however a historical date can be selected. -The map will reflect the location history of where the team member was during the selected period. -The specific time (range of time) can be adjusted to get a more defined snapshot of the locations during the date selected. -Select the "boxed" time and slide it to the left or right to limit the period of time being displayed. -The events related to the date selected will be listed. -The report can be e-mailed by selecting the "Mail Icon" from the top right corner of the page (pending functionality).
