For the first three slides, each type of energy should be matched to a written definition and a picture that represents that type of energy. The slides.
Energy: the ability to do work
Potential and Kinetic Energy doesn’t just “appear” it comes from something or some other form.
What is Energy  Energy is the ability to cause change. Change in ANYTHING  There are two general types of energy Kinetic energy Potential energy.
Energy Forms and Transformations Objective: Examine the various forms of energy in order to identify and describe specific energy transformations.

Energy Kinetic Energy Potential Energy.
Energy is said to be the ability to do work. That means the ability to make something happen. By “happen” it means to make things move or change condition.
Kinetic and Potential Energy have many forms. 1. Mechanical Energy - Energy associated with motion or position.

Forms of Energy. Nature of Energy Energy is the ability to do work. If an object or organism does work, then it uses energy. Work is the use of a force.

Move It, Move It!!!! Forms of Energy

Mechanical Energy Energy of movement(can be in a potential or kinetic state)

Radiant Energy Energy that comes from electromagnetic radiation and is visible as light.

Thermal Energy Hot or Cold!! Total energy of the particles of an object.

Sound Energy The energy of an objects vibrations.

Nuclear Energy Energy absorbed or released when there are changes to the nucleus of an atom.

Electrical Energy The energy of moving electrons due to an electrical current.

Chemical Energy Energy release or absorbed by a chemical reaction
