Colonial Growth Objective: Students will be able to differentiate key terms and vocabulary by creating a personal dictionary. Purpose: To evaluate the growth of the American Colonies to understand its significance and some of the potential causes for independence. Standard: Students will compare lifestyles in the New England, Middle, and Southern Colonies according to race, class, and gender by utilizing one of the big 11 social studies skills.
