Slope is the measure of steepness. Some hillsides are not steep. They are easy to climb. They have a small slope.

Slope is a measure of steepness. Other hillsides are very steep. They have a large slope. What makes this hillside steeper than the other? How would you make it easier to get to the top of the hill?

Slopes can be the same when measurements vary.
