Bill of Rights “Cootie Catcher ”

Sharing Each group will share their Bill of Rights Reviewing the Bill of Rights through a Music Video

Using Differentiation to build literacy Social Science Reading There are a number of ways to use D.I. in Social Science. Students can use graphic organizer that can help the student focus on the main ideas of the text or document The use of technology to help students through educational videos and interactive sites.

Graphic Organizers Can Be Made to Help Students Organize their Thoughts on Different Levels All students are given the same information but in a way that allows for varying reading and writing levels

Social Science Best Practices Stimuli-Based Instruction Allows for D.I. through pictures and Vocabulary Definition: The use of primary or secondary sources of information, emphasizing content/ skills explicitly stated in standards/ benchmarks, to increase student content knowledge, analytical skills, and engagement.
