In October 2001 the National Commissioner of Work and Income met with representatives from Mayors Taskforce and agreement was reached that:  these parties would work in partnership  community coalitions would be established  a ‘whole of government’ approach is taken to support local initiatives In the beginning…

In October 2002 government and Mayors Taskforce for Jobs agreed to the shared goal that: “All 15 to 19 year olds will be in work, education or training, or other activities that contribute to their long term economic independence and well-being, by 2007” In the beginning…
