Installing from TaxWise CD Insert your TaxWise 2006 CD into your CD drive. –If the installation program does not start automatically click the Start button on the Windows Taskbar and then click run. –Type D://startup in the Open dialog box and click OK.

Click the Save button to save the file taxwise.zip to your desktop.

Double-click the file taxwise.zip Double-click the TaxWise06CD folder. Double-click the Startup.exe icon to launch the TaxWise Installation.

Registering TaxWise Once you have completed Setup Options, TaxWise displays the Register Software box: Verify your EFIN/Customer Number box and press the Tab Key. Enter your registration code in the Registration Code box and press the Enter key.

16 /17 Installing and Configuring TaxWise © 2006, Universal Tax Systems, Inc. All Rights Reserved. Transmit for Multiple EFINS Click Register Software on the Setup menu in TaxWise Utility. Enter the EFIN for the next site in the EFIN/Customer Number box and press the Tab key.
