Board Giving & Participation In FY15 Board giving, exclusive of the Growing & Giving Campaign, has grown 32% over FY14 and nearly 35% since FY13. Directors personally donated $95,490 of unrestricted funds in FY15. Participation has also reached 100%, an increase from 95% in FY14 and 86% in FY13. 81% of Directors contributed to the Employee Morale Fund, totaling $3,900. Average annual gift size in FY15 was $4,547 with a median gift of $3,100, up from an average of $3,606 and median of $1,725 in FY14. Of returning Directors, 15 increased their total giving year over year. Directors solicited $57,597 from corporate and individual contacts in FY15, down from $71,441 in in FY14 and $119,580. This drop can be attributed to changes and losses in corporate partners.

Board Growing & Giving Campaign Participation 95% of Directors have made at least one gift to the Growing & Giving Campaign. 60% have made a multi-year pledge. A total of $255,300 has been committed to G&G by the Board so far, with an average total gift/commitment of $13,436 and median of $4,250. Multi-year pledges total $126,150 with an average pledge of $10,500. Other Board Activities of Note Board meeting attendance ranged from 53% to 76%. 67% of Directors attended the Board Retreat in February. Barry Siegal and Sheila Dorman hosted Board meetings at their offices. EC conducted its first survey & restructured BOD committees. All Directors belong to at least one committee. Much work has been done to create new charters and increase impact of committee work.
