LEARN Lao PDR Equity Analysis Research Networks

Context of Lao PDR  Poverty reduced by 40% in past two decades  Target to graduate from LDC status by 2020  Progress in some MDGs is lagging behind  Economic progress has not benefitted everyone  Addressing inequity is a daunting challenge

LEARN Overall Objective To contribute to better population health and Universal Health Coverage in Lao PDR through better informed public health policies and their implementation, monitoring and evaluation.
