The mother of a 4 year old brings her child to the office for evaluation of rhinorrhea and low grade fever of 24 hours’ duration. She inquires about using Echinacea for her child.

An 11-year old female is being followed by her primary care physician for recurrent headaches. She has undergone extensive evaluation, and her physician has concluded that she has migraines. Her family is interested in pursuing biofeedback for her headaches.

A 3-month-old former 24-week premature infant is transferred from the Intensive Care Nursery to the step- down unit to work on oral feedings and development. The occupational therapists approach you to recommend initiating infant massage. They would also like to teach the family how to perform infant massage.

A 5-week-old infant is brought to the Emergency Department for evaluation of inconsolable crying. He has reportedly been crying for hours at a time for the past 6 days. The family has made multiple visits to the family’s chiropractor, and the infant has undergone daily manipulations over the past 4 days.
