The Baptismal Fork In The Road …

?

Understanding N.T. Baptism  A baptism must be comprised of 3 important elements to be “valid”  Failure on any/all of these 3 criteria renders a baptism unacceptable to God…not in harmony with the N.T.

The Baptismal Fork In The Road “Mechanics” (how one is baptized) It must be a “burial” Jn 3:22-23 Rom 6:3-4 Col 2:11-12 Eph 2:1-3 4:5

The Baptismal Fork In The Road For what reason? For the remission of sins Mk 1:4 Lk 3:3 Acts 2:38 22:16 MODE

The Baptismal Fork In The Road By whose authority? The name of Jesus Christ Jn 14:6 Acts 2:38 Acts 4:12 1 Cor 1:10-15 MODEPURPOSE

The Baptismal Fork In The Road MODEPURPOSE NAME Any baptism must agree with the N.T. on all 3 points to be scriptural Any failure is an invalid baptism… must have proper baptism Mt 21:25 Acts 19:1-5

The Baptismal Fork In The Road Understanding N.T. Baptism  All this seems rather straightforward, easy to comprehend & accept  Yet, millions interested in religion still come to the…

The Baptismal Fork In The Road ?

Deciding At The “Fork”  On a topic as important as baptism, it is shameful many stand at this spot confused…not knowing what to do  “Which way do I go?”  Both ways don’t lead to the same place

The Baptismal Fork In The Road Deciding At The “Fork”  Not everyone interested in religion is taught the truth re: baptism  They are taught false aspects (error) to comply with denominational creeds instead of harmonizing with the N.T. Mt 15:1-6

The Baptismal Fork In The Road Deciding At The “Fork”  Churches promoting inherited sin (depravity) don’t demand immersion… but claim their “baptism” remits sin & is in the name of Christ (Catholic, Methodist, Lutheran, etc.)

The Baptismal Fork In The Road Deciding At The “Fork”  Churches promoting “faith-only” salvation don’t demand baptism’s necessity… but will immerse & claim their baptism is in the name of Christ (Baptist, Nazarene, etc.)

The Baptismal Fork In The Road Deciding At The “Fork”  What is the one who stands at the fork and is interested in baptism to do?  The only safe thing to do…he must compare what a church teaches re: baptism to the inspired word of God

The Baptismal Fork In The Road Deciding At The “Fork”  Only then will he know the correct path to take that will lead him to God Psa 119:105

The Baptismal Fork In The Road Conclusion  A spot everyone comes to  You don’t need to be confused…the Scripture affirms the importance of N.T. baptism Acts 10:47 22:14-16  Will you accept the 1 N.T. baptism?
