Who is a consumer?  A person who pays for goods and/or services from a supplier.

Some consumer rights… A consumer has the right to:  Expect that goods and services will be safe and of good quality  Be given the correct information about goods and services  Be able to choose what to buy, where to buy, when to buy  Complain  be listened to  Receive fair treatment  Refund, exchange or repair if product is of bad quality  Expect labels to show contents, quantity and quality of the goods purchased

Steps to take when unhappy with good or services  Contact the producer of the goods or services  Ask to see the manager  Be polite  Outline the complaint clearly
