Fight or Flight Response It is the response that your brain produces when you perceive a threat, your brain produces message to prepare you to fight against the threat.

How does the Brain Responds to Stress Increase heart rate and blood pressure Slow down of digestive process Decrease blood flow to the hands and feet while increasing to the major muscles, such as chest Increase production of adrenaline, a hormone secreted by adrenal glands Increase production of cortisol
