High School Career In his high school career he attended Wichita North High school.
College Career In his college career, he played for the Oklahoma State Cowboys.
Barry Sanders Stats in the NFL He was only 5’ 8” and 203 lbs. In 1997 he rushed for 2,053 yards. In 1998 he had gained 15,269 yards in only ten seasons. He also had 99 touchdowns. He set a record by rushing for 100 yards in 14 games
Barry’s Retirement On July 28, 1999, he shocked many when he said he was going to retire.
Marriage and Marriage Again First, Barry married Carolyn Chambers. Then he married Lauren Campbell.
After Retirement In 2004, he became the third youngest player ever inducted into the Hall of Fame. Barry Sanders is 39 years old in 2008 and lives in suburban Detroit with his wife Lauren Campbell (a former weekend news anchor in Detroit) and four children.
