ALDEMİR ATİLLA KONUK ANATOLIAN HIGH SCHOOL ANTALYA TURKEY

Our school is located in Antalya on the south cost of Turkey.The city is very attractive for the people all around the world as Antalya’s envious historical ruins, together with its amazing natural surroundings remind you of an open air museum.

ALDEMİR ATİLLA KONUK ANTOLIAN HİGH SCHOOL was opened in 1994 and moved to this building one year later.We have about 600 students and 40 teachers.

Our students come to our school after taking a general exam for the secondary school students.They go the upper secondary schools according to their grades in the exam.

. Throughout the educational life in our school, students have different subjects such as English,Turkish Literature, Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography, History,Religious Education, Art, Music, German and PE etc..

When students finish 9th grade, they choose the subjects they would like to study according to their profession which they want to be in real life. This system helps students clarify their future and help them to get rid of classes that they will never see again.

We mostly prepare our students for the universities. They take an exam after high school and according to their grades in this exam they go to the universities.

This is the second time our school has been involved in a comenius project.We finished our last project in We also participated in many youth exchanges under the framework of Youth in Action programme as a coordinator or a partner.
