VIDEO CAMERA PRODUCTION

STORY BOARDS Plan a storyboard before you begin Follow basic narrative rules Start with an establishing shot –Eg a wedding could be a long shot of the church,a party an outside shot of the venue

Basic Rules Never film without a tripod, camera shake will ruin your shot. Never use the zoom during shots. Always allow three seconds at the start and the end of each shot for editing.

The Camera Most of the cameras are very simple. Point and press the red button. If you film with the screen open the battery will run out very quickly.

Booking Equipment It would be best to use your own camera if you have one, but we do have a few school cameras to loan out. You need to get an insurance letter signed by your parents then book a camera with Miss Burns.
