DESCRIBING PICTURES The best friend When describing pictures there are some rules you have to follow to be sure thet your task is successfully fulfil. Rule 1: be aware of the topic the picture is used in Rule 2: describe the physical objects and follow with describing the atmosphere and your impressions Rule 3: include the phrases and expressions Rule 4: organise your speaking as a fluent presentation Tips to describe pictures well

Rule 1- topic Family Gender roles Free time and hobbies 1. Look at the pictures and think about three possible topics the picture can be used in. (There is one example for you.)

Rule2 – physical objects followed by atmosphere and own impressions 1. SHOPPING Look at the pictures and describe the physical objects. Then follow with describing the atmosphere. Include the impressions you have from the picture. The topic is given.
