OUR STATEMENTS: WHY WE EXIST AS A CHURCH OUR MISSION STATEMENT “WE THE FAMILY OF CENTRAL BAPTIST CHURCH, OF WILLIAMSBURG OHIO, DESIRE TO SHARE JESUS CHRIST AS WE WORSHIP GOD, LIVE ACCORDING TO THE BIBLE, AND SERVE OUR NEIGHBORS IN AND AROUND THE WORLD IN COOPERATION WITH SOUTHERN BAPTISTS.” OUR MISSION STATEMENT IS BASED ON AN ENCOURAGEMENT TO LIVE ACCORDING TO GOD’S WILL (ROMANS 12:1-2) AND THE GREAT COMMISSION (MATTHEW 28:19-20). OUR STATEMENT OF FAITH – WHAT WE BELIEVE we have unity In essential beliefs — we have unity. “There is one Body and one Spirit...there is one Lord, one faith, one baptism, and one God and Father of us all...” Eph. 4:4-6 we have liberty In non-essential beliefs — we have liberty. “Accept him whose faith is weak, without passing judgment on disputable matters... Who are you to judge someone else’s servant? To his own master he stands or falls... So then each of us will give an account of himself to God...
