Walruses, Whales and Seals, Oh My!  We will spend several classes discussing the three orders of marine mammals. - Among other, we will learn about: Whales Seals Walruses

Additional Topics  This class will also cover the topic of exploitation/conservation. - We will discuss items ranging from military use to preservation.

Guest Presentations  Two class sessions will be devoted to guest speakers on the following topics: - Careers in Oceanography - Endangered Marine Mammals

“Gone Fishing”  Class laboratory time will be spent at either the aquarium or other local marine habitats. These exciting events will include: - Hands on activities with the marine mammals - Video presentations of various topics relating to marine biology - Question & Answer sessions with local marine biology experts
