Olympic Games a sports competition that started in ancient Greece

ancient ideas, people, things, and whole civilizations that happened long ago

athlete people trained in sports, games, or other activities that require great strength

ceremony A formal act or set of acts performed as prescribed by ritual or custom

competing To strive against another or others to attain a goal, such as an advantage or a victory

medal A flat piece of metal with a design or an inscription commemorating an event, an award

peaceful freedom from disagreement, calm, to be full of peace

olive branch A branch of an olive tree regarded as an emblem of peace
