Level of Focus The level of teaching I would like to focus on is College or Tertiary. This is because of its helping older students get their associates, bachelors, and masters degree.

High Schools/Colleges

What you have to achieve All 50 States and the District of Columbia require public school teachers to be licensed. It is not required for teachers in private school. Also it is required that in all states you have to have a Bachelors degree and completion of an approved teacher training program with a prescribed number of subject and education credits as well as supervised practice teaching. Lastly it is required that all licensure applicants be tested for competency in basic skills and subject matter proficiency.

Earnings In 2004—05 the survey taken by the American Association of University Professors for full—time faculty averaged. By rank, $91,548 for professors, $65,113 for associate professors, $54,571 for assistant professors, $39,899 for instructors, and $45,647 for lecturers.
