How to Add a New Slide To insert a new slide click insert on theinsertslide toolbar at the top of the page.toolbar The first thing you will see is a bar saying new slide. Once you have clicked on it you should have a slide layout bar on the right of your page. You can choose a layout and you have inserted a new slide. 2

How to Insert Pictures If you want to insert a picture first you will have to save a picture from the internet to your file.insertinternet Then you click insert on the tool bar at the top of the page.tool bar On the ninth bar down you will find picture click on it then click from file. Choose a picture and click insert.

How to Save Your Work To save your work first you will have to go to the tool bar at the top, click on file. Go down four bars it should say save, click on it and name your work, click save. You have saved your work. 4

How to Change Your Font To change the font of your writing you highlight the writing you want to make different, look at the top of the page, near the middle of the screen there is a long white box.font Click the down arrow and different types of font will appear, choose one. The font of your writing will be different. 6

How to Change the Colour of Your Writing First highlight the writing that you want to change the colour of. Secondly go to the bar at the top of the page, move along until you get to a capital A, click the small arrow facing downwards next to the A choose a colour. Finally you have changed the colour of your writing.

How to add a background To add a background go to the toolbar at the top of the page, click format the second bar up from the bottom.background Press the down arrow next to the small white bar, play around until you find a background that you like. Then press ‘apply’, you have added a background to your slide.

How to Add Animation Click on slide show in the tool bar at the top of the page. Once you have done that go down until you get to animation schemes.animation A bar will appear on the right of your page, choose an animation and your page will become animated.

How to View Your Slide Show First go to the tool bar at the top of your screen, click on slide show. Your first option says ‘view show’, click on it. Now you can view your slide showview

Glossary Insert – To add something. slide – An overview of information. Toolbar – A bar in which you can show accessories. Internet – You can find lots of information and pictures etc. Background – A background makes you're page more colourful. Animation – Adds movement to your slide show. View – To see. Font – The style in which your text is written in.
