Crossing the Line of Faith If you would like to receive Christ right now: Pray – in your own words and ask for God’s forgiveness (admit your wrongdoing and sin, and ask Him to forgive you based on the payment made by Jesus on the cross)

Crossing the Line of Faith An example prayer might be something like: Dear God, I admit that I have gone my own way. I have sinned against you and need your forgiveness. I am very sorry for my sins. I turn from them to you. I believe that Jesus died for me, bearing my penalty on the cross. Please forgive me.

Crossing the Line of Faith Secondly, Pray – in your own words and ask for God’s leadership (give up control of your life to Him and ask Him for help to live the life He wants you to live by coming and living inside of you by His Spirit.)

Crossing the Line of Faith An example prayer might be something like: “Now I open the door to my life. Come in, Lord Jesus. Come in as my Savior and cleanse me. Come in as my Lord, and take control of my life and I will serve as you give me strength, all my life.”

Crossing the Line of Faith Lastly, in your own words give God thanks for His forgiveness and leadership. An example prayer might be: Heavenly Father, thank you for loving me and going to such incredible lengths to save me. Lord Jesus, thank you for dying in my place and for coming to live inside of me. I give you all the praise and glory for it. Amen.
