What is a Castle ? It is a masonry edifice constructed on a hilltop with tall towers punctuating the curtain walls topped by battlements. And in this edifice, several geometric figures can be observed.

What are those figures then? Polygons like…. Triangles These figures are found on the roof of the tower, the main entrance of the Castle and the flags above the Castle.

Rectangles and Squares… These figures are found on walls and floors of the Castle. Four sided plane figure in which each angle is a right angle, especially one with adjacent sides of different lengths. Figure with four right angles and equal sides.

And other multi-sided polygons… …which are found on the windows of the Castle. Hexagon Pentagon Octagon

Multi-sided Polygons…..  Pentagon – a polygon with 5 sides.  Hexagon – a polygon with 6 sides.  Octagon – a polygon with 8 sides.

This is now the Castle that we mean…. Thank you for being with us…
