Is there an Honors Program?  At the end of the 1 st semester, students self-nominate or are nominated by professors. If the nomination is accepted, the student will be interviewed. Does Wingate Have On Campus Housing?  Living on campus is required all 4 years unless you are married, a parent, over 23 years old, or living in principle residence of parents  You can request roommates and you can move (questionnaire is completed to pair up roommates)  You can have a vehicle on campus, but you need a parking pass  80% of all students live on campus  First years have to live in the Cannon, Alumni, and JM Smith Residence Halls  Sophomores and Upper Classmen can choose to live in an apartment or suite style residential area on campus: South Village, Watson Village, and Helms Residence Hall
