 Left Egyptian bondage  Marched in desert for 40 years  Promised a land flowing with milk and honey  Joshua led across Jordan River  They need to take the Land

 How can they do it?  They needed:  God to deliver them  To follow his instructions  Jericho was a test case

I. Jericho is the First Battle The enemy is Afraid The enemy is Afraid – Jos. 6:1 Christians should never fear the enemy of the Lord Smallest Christian should never be afraid of the largest sinner 1 John 5:4
