South porcupines protect itself by stabbing it’s predators. They have a fat fur that protect itself by sticking it’s points in them.They also have a thick fur that protects it’s body. Protection

Habitat Porcupines live in hot places because they like hiding in big green leaves. They also live in Africa and North America.

Diet Porcupines drink it’s mothers milk for 4 months. In the winter they eat inner bark on trees.they Like salt and salty things. In fact they eat a variety of trees.they eat Lily pads,rose bushes and car tiers.

Description Porcupines are dull and spiky. Young porcupines are darker than adults. The male porcupines have big and chunky noses. Porcupines have orange and white teeth.

Fact At birth the large (500g)young porcupines has long thick black hair and short soft spines. The weight is kilograms (9.9lb)for females.Porcupines sight is very poor.The north American porcupines are active all year.
