The United States is one place that has Direct Democracy. It isn’t fully made up of this form of government, but it has some form of it. People are able to vote and make decisions on their own, but there are still laws that people have to follow. If people break the law they have to deal with the consequences of their actions.

People are free to do what they want. They are able to vote and make other decisions on their own. Everyone is equal.

Pro’s People govern themselves. Everyone has a say. They are able to vote and make other decisions. Power is equally spread among the people. Pro’s People govern themselves. Everyone has a say. We think that only part of direct democracy should be included in our island. We don’t want to have all direct democracy because of some of the drawbacks it might have on the island. There might be people who are not well informed about the issues we have on our island, and when voting or making decisions they might pick the wrong choice. There would also be a lot of disagreements between the people because they would want to do whatever they want, so there would be a lot of arguments.
