On your own paper:  With a pen, underline your THESIS  With a pen, circle anywhere that you mention specific SATIRICAL TECHNIQUES in the essay  With a pen, box in anywhere that you mention the TITLE of one of Mark Twain’s works in the essay  With a highlighter, highlight the SPECIFIC CONCRETE DETAILS that you use

 Put your name (in the correct spot) on the peer editing sheet  READ THROUGH the entire essay once before editing  Follow the instructions on the editing sheet, making all SUGGESTIONS directly on the copy of the essay  STAPLE it to the front of the essay, and return it to the author
