WORLD WAR II VETRAN Mr. Dovalina fought in the world war II when he was 27 years old … he describes the war with a lot of noise of guns, and bombs throughout the battle… you could also here all of the fighter plans when they would drop missiles and bombs

A little about Mr. Dovalina He was born in 1916 and he is 92 years old. He has lived in Laredo almost all his life but during the war he was in different places. Also was in san Antonio when he went down there to be checked and everything.

his experiences Mr.Dovalina was sent to san Antonio to be checked and everything. Later after they let him out he came to Laredo with his parents,and his brother. His brother had been n the military also but his brother got out along time before him

school when he got back to Laredo they were offering some books to study for 1 year and they would give him $80 dollars sop that was good for him because $80 dollars was a lot of money to spend he could give his mom some of it and the rest for him, but he would rather go to collage to get a diploma and not pay anything he thought he was just wasting his time in Laredo

He had taken a test for collage but he didn’t pass it well he only missed it by 1 point and it was because there was algebra in it which he did not know how to do they told him he could retake the test but he didn’t want to because he was only going to take it once

After the war he came back to live here in Laredo Texas and he has been here ever since then …we greatly pay our respects to Mr. Dovalina for fighting for our country
