 There are two contrasting nutritional that concerns in the world, one is malnutrition, which is caused chiefly by insufficient food supply common in countries in Africa and in Southeast Asia, and could result in high mortality caused by infection.

 And the other concern is what we may call “overnourishment” or excessive intake of food which causes obesity and other life style-related diseases like diabetes mellitus, hyperlipidemia and hypertensio.

 Is a term that indicates the absence of some or all nutritional elements that are essential for human health. malnutrition is divided in two basic types:  -Protein-Energy malnutrition:is basically a lack of calories and protein, That are essential body fuctions as maintenance of muscles.  -Micronutrient malnutrition: is the victamin and mineral deficiency.

 Malnutrition First Grade will be called weight loss that does not exceed 15% of normal weight for age of the patient. Malnutrition.  Second Grade weight loss ranging between 15% and 40% will be called.  Third Degree Malnutrition is called to that body weight loss exceeding 40% of the weight it should have.

 Is induced by accumulated fat in the body as store of excess energy when energy intake exceeds energy expenditure. Fat is energy store for preparing for starvation.

 When visceral fat is deposited in the well-nourished body and becomes large, the adiposetissue starts to secrete insulin- resistant substances and the diabetes mellitus 2 is to be developed.

 Obesity in children brings psychological, social or physical illness, which is critical to carefully put them children at that age because they are very vulnerable toconsume unhealthy foods and teaching them healthy education as wll asat school and at home.
