Girls wore poodle skirts and guys wore white t-shirts and black leather jackets just like the characters from the hit movie grease.

New inventions that were created was the credit card, super glue, Mr. potato head, hydrogen bomb, diet soda, radial tires, birth control, hovercraft, computer modem, laser, microchip, and the Barbie doll.

Some hit music in the 1950’s was Hound Dog - Elvis Presley Be-Bop-A-Lula - Gene Vincent & the Bluecaps Blue Suede Shoes - Carl Perkins / Elvis Presley Great Balls Of Fire - Jerry Lee Lewis

Girls wore skirts hemmed up above the knee. You weren’t allowed to wear pants or shorts in school. Bell-bottoms were popular in the 60’s and they didn’t pay more then 4 dollars for them! WOW
