Theorems 8-13 and 8-14 If a parallelogram is a rectangle, then its diagonals are congruent. If the diagonals of a parallelogram are congruent, then the parallelogram is a rectangle.
Properties of a Rectangle Opposite sides are congruent and parallel. Opposite angles are congruent. Consecutive angles are supplementary. Diagonals are congruent and bisect each other. All 4 angles are right angles.
