Heading Name Address Phone Number Appropriate Address for Business Use Leave off extra periods, commas Be consistent

Objective A specific statement about the job you are seeking.

Education Schools attended, dates, GPA if 3.0 or better, and field of study List the most recent school first. (list only high school and college)

Relevant Coursework List classes that are relevant to the specific job for which you are applying.

Skills/ Qualifications What you expect to bring to and learn from the school, program

Experience A listing of jobs held Job Title Names and addresses of employers Dates Brief but specific descriptions of job duties and/or responsibilities. List the most recent job first (Reverse Chronological Order!) List both paid and volunteer positions.

Activities Membership in Clubs, including Honor Society Teams Music groups Youth Groups Other community organizations

Achievements Make sure to list any honors earned here – Student of the Month; Most Inspirational Athlete award... Leadership positions on teams Team Championships Awards for music, academics…
