From DNA to Protein Unit 7 Lesson 1

Wire Bending Instructions You are going to bend your wire into a specific shape based on the markings on your wire. You should see some red and green marks on the wire. There are four red marks on the wire. Starting at the red mark on one end of the wire, coil the wire around a pen or pencil from the first red mark to the second red mark. Stop coiling when you reach the second red mark. Do the same thing for the second pair of red marks. Coil the wire between this pair of red marks. Then, at each green mark on the wire, you are going to bend the wire into a U- shape. Do this for each green mark on your wire. Once you have bent the wire for each green mark, you are finished bending your wire. Once everyone has finished, compare your wire shape to those around you to see if you all got the same shape.
