How to eat with CHOPSTICKS! By Kat Eusebio

What are chopsticks? Chopsticks are sticks used in pairs as eating utensils Chopsticks can be made of wood, gold, silver, ivory, bamboo, or plastic.

The history.. Chopsticks came from China Shang dynasty – ( BC/BCE) Chopsticks are used in China, Korea, Japan, and Vietnam

How to use them… First chopstick is placed between the middle of your thumb and your middle finger. The second chopstick, the top one, is held between the tips of your index finger and thumb. The top chopstick moves while the bottom does not.

Remember… Keep the ends of the chopsticks at an even length. The chopsticks should not cross each other The bottom chopstick does not move, only the top! Holding them closer to the top end gives wider range of motion

Chopstick Etiquette Chopsticks should not be used to pierce food. Chopsticks should not be vertically stuck into rice bowls, it is symbolism for feeding the dead. Chopsticks should not be crossed, it is believed to be a bad omen
