Presentation transcript:

The urinary system is the system of taking out waste from the blood and putting back what the blood needs.

Urine is a liquid waste product of the body secreted by the kidneys by a process of filtration from blood called urination and excreted through the urethra. Urine

The kidney filters the blood into urine. Kidney

The ureter is a passage way from the kidney to the bladder. Right ureter Left ureter

The urinary bladder is a solid, muscular, and distensible organ that sits on the pelvic floor. Bladder

The urethra is a tube which connects the urinary bladder to the outside of the body. Urethra

One problem is a reflux. This is when the urine goes up the ureter back to the kidney. The second problem is when the ureter clogs up and it really, really hurts.
