TCAP STANDARDS Recognize cultural definitions (i.e., language, religion, customs, political system, and economic system View and discuss a show which shows a diverse global culture.

Instructions: Each of you are to be partnered up. Each of you are to silently write down the answer to the question at the top of the slide. At the end, you and your partner will compare to see if you wrote the same things.

There is a reason you will recognize most of the following things.

Daily Life Daily life: Foods, and how they are eaten. Some people eat with forks, some with forks, some chopsticks, other hands.

History History helps people remember the successes they share. (Think for sports, for example). We celebrate Holidays, due to history. Disaster and defeat also affect how people see themselves. (Think 9-11)
