Today we are learning about Order Of Operations By : tea lynique nicole kidd

The 1 st step is prentices In order of operations prentices come 1 st What ever is in the ( ) you have to do 1 st EX.) (4x2)2 do what is in the prentices 1 st 4x2= 8 x2 = 16

The second step is exponents In PEMDAS exponents is the E It is the # times itself by how much the small number is. EX.) 3 3 It would look like 3x3x3 1 st do 3x3 = 9 Then do 9x3 = 27 You do NOT do 3,6,9 It’s like bracken it down.

The 3 rd step is x and / Its like a 2step problem. Because you have to x and / You have to go LEFT from RIGHT EX. ) 20x10/2 Left from right 20x10= /2 = 100

Step 4 is + and - + and – is just like x and / You got to go LEFT from RIGHT EX. ) = = 19 EX. ) = = 21

HAVE FUN PEMDAS 3 3 x3(2+5)-26+2/2 = And when you are don’t face the bored and look at it !!! DO THE MATH

The answer is !!! 3 3 x3(2+5)-26+2/2 = 542

What’s your pick !!! Would anybody like to come up and do the problem Are do you wont me to it What would you like say 1 for the 1 st pick and say two for the 2 nd pick. !
