Brochure Project You will be creating a brochure based on one of the many topics that we have focused on this nine weeks. You have the option to choose which topic you would like to base your project on from the list below. 1. Note-taking strategies 2. Managing Stress 3. Studying Strategies 4. Short-term Planning (LPET) 5. Time Management Skills 6. Study Environment

Brochure Project After choosing your topic, you will go to my webpage and click on the “Study Skills Handout” link. You will find a template on the links page for your brochure titled, “Brochure Project Template.” After opening the template, click on “file” and “save as.” You will save this document on the “R” drive in the “Menard” folder. Use your first and last name as your title.

Brochure Project You will be graded on the following items: On the title page, include the name of your study skill and a picture that depicts it. In the Introduction, write a brief introduction about the importance of your chosen study skill. It must be 5 sentences minimum. You will then chose three subtopics to include in your brochure. These will be details about your study skill. You will write a conclusion restating the importance of your chosen study skill. Mention your three subtopics in the conclusion. You must include information and a picture on each page. Grammar/Spelling/Punctuation COUNTS! Be creative! Change the colors, design, etc. of your brochure. All information must be accurate.

Brochure Project You will also find the rubric on the “Study Skills Handouts” links page as well. Refer back to the rubric to ensure that you have included every requirement. If you are struggling to come up with enough information for your brochure, you may research your topic. When class is over, save your document. We will be completing this assignment in the computer lab.
