By the end of the lesson we will Know what a Contract of Employment is and what is contained in it Know the disciplinary procedures commonly used in the workplace

Success Criteria: To introduce the contract of employment and disciplinary procedures that are used within the workplace. Learning Intentions: You should be able to: Describe the contract of employment and give examples of types of things that are contained in it. Describe the disciplinary procedures that employers can use on employees. Describe how employees should be protected at work with legislation.

Contract of Employment A document issued to an employee when they start work
