Background Population ~ 6,100 people Approximately 21,554 acres Alachua city officials desire building a cultural hub which integrates public and private partnerships.

Goals & Objectives Determine suitable location for a cultural hub in Alachua county Based on attribute series To build within the vicinity of primary & secondary educational institutions Encourage use of resources by the local community Library, computer center (with internet connection), job training & counseling, community center for intellectuals Increase the number of visiting patrons from other municipalities Provide a landmark location within the state of Florida Provide a spatially distributed center for sociability and learning Functional adaptability for future design standards Architecturally stimulating design Technologically advanced building systems/structures
