COPY- WRITER The copywriter has ultimate responsibility for the advertisement's verbal or textual content, which often includes receiving the copy information from the client. Education: At least a bachelors degree in communications, advertising and marketing, journalism, English, or media studies. Job Qualifications: Excellent English communication and writing skills, attention to detail, and superior research and fact-checking skills are essential. A love of fashion and knowledge about the industry, historical trends, designers, textiles, fabrics and business are also important Personal Qualifications: Good interpersonal communication skills are needed for interviews and dealing with editors. Salary Range: Average salary is $58,000

FASHION DIRECTOR also called fashion coordinator Education: a minimum of a 4-year bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising or Fashion Design is often required for upper-level fashion coordinator or director's jobs.. Job qualifications: responsible for creating a unified look and feel across all fashion divisions of a department store, design house, or fashion magazine. EDUCATIONAL DIRECTOR Education: Master's Degree in school administration, supervision, or curriculum. Experience is fundamental. Job qualifications: Possess demonstrated leadership and communication skills (written and oral). Experience in integration of academic content in CTE. Experience and expertise in educational data collection and data based management decision making. Experience and expertise in articulating CTE programs with post- secondary programs and institutions. Experience in developing and administering departmental budgets. Personal Qualifications: Confidence and security. Must professionally be the epitome of idiosyncratic out of the box dynamic. Salary Range: Makes anywhere from $82, 341- $130, 872.

SCRIPTWRITER Scriptwriters are skilled writers who prepares scripts for commercials, soap operas, comedies, and dramas that appear on television, in films, and on stage. Education: A degree is useful but not essential Job Qualifications: They must be able to write persuasively, creatively, and quickly because of the pressure of deadlines. FASHION STYLIST responsible for bringing to life a photographer or director's vision Education: 2-year or 4-year degree in Fashion Merchandising, Fashion Design, Art or Visual Merchandising is helpful but not required. Job Qualifications: scout locations, create the mood for the shoot by selecting and setting up the appropriate props, fashions, accessories, and even models to fit the theme of the shoot. They coordinate colors and styles and ensure that all clothes are ready for the shoot, which can include basic tasks such as steaming and ironing garments. Personal Qualifications: eye for style; creativity and resourcefulness; broad knowledge of fashion history, trends and forecasts; technical know-how for setting up sets; good interpersonal and networking skills; persistence and self-motivation; ability to market oneself; savvy business skills to deal with invoicing, bills, budgets, etc. Salary Range: $0 to $100,000+

FASHION SALES REPRESENTATIVE Also called Manufacturer's Representative and Apparel Sales Representative. Education: a bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, or Marketing is preferred, but not always required. Job Qualifications: They listen to their customers concerns about the product, assist in solving problems the customer may have with the product, and even help the customer sell more of the product by arranging special events like trunk shows and in-store fashion shows featuring their products. Personal Qualifications: highly competitive; belief in the product and ability to maintain enthusiasm for it; excellent communication skills - both written and oral; establish good relationships with customers; self-motivated with good follow- through skills; ability to deal with rejection and remain upbeat; knowledge of fashion industry trends and manufacturer's competitors Salary Range:$15,000 to $100,000+

FASHION PHOTOGRAPHER conceptualize, shoot, develop, and print still photos and/or videos to show off clothes and accessories in a creative manner that catches the eye of consumers. Education: a 2-year or 4-year degree in Fashion Merchandising, Fashion Design, Art or Visual Merchandising is helpful but not required. Job Qualifications: Photographers need to immerse themselves totally in the world of fashion and develop outstanding creative and technical skills that will give their photographs individual character and style. FASHION EDITOR also called Apparel Editor, Accessories Editor, Fashion Producer Job Qualifications: Fashion editors are responsible for deciding the creative influence and direction that their departments will pursue during a given season or issue. Editors may specialize in apparel, accessories, beauty and make-up, and so on. Personal Qualifications: Passion for fashion; broad knowledge of fashion industry trends and forecasts; excellent writing/journalistic talent with the ability to communicate effectively and clearly; great organization and planning skills; excellent interpersonal and management skills; competitive spirit. Education: A 4-year bachelor's degree in Fashion Design & Merchandising or Journalism. A Liberal Arts degree with the necessary related coursework is also a good option. Salary Range:$30,000 to $100,000+

AUDIOVISUAL COORDINATOR Education: Any acceptable combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school with two years of college coursework in video production or a related field (Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, Communications, Public Information, or related field desirable) and two years of progressively responsible work experience installing and troubleshooting audio/visual production equipment. Job qualifications: effectively and efficiently installing, operating, utilizing, maintaining and troubleshooting audio/visual equipment, aids and media. effectively utilizing computer systems and applications in the performance of work assignments, such as presentation/PowerPoint software, electronic spreadsheets, word processing, database and graphics. Personal qualifications: communicate ideas clearly, concisely and effectively, orally and in writing. Use initiative and independent judgment within established procedural guidelines. Prepare clear and concise documentation, user instructions, reports, correspondence and other written materials. Salary range: $ 33,000 – $90,000

EDITORIAL ASSISTANT Education: Bachelors Degree required. Job Qualifications: Editorial assistants perform a range of administrative and editorial tasks necessary to get publications published.
