Jazsmine Anderson Period 5 Computer#

PG 1 Once upon a time there was a guy named Steve and he was in eighth grade. He was 5’6 and was sort of nerdy in a way. He didn’t get along with everyone but he was very nice. He also sat with only two people at the lunch table, his best friends. His best friends names are Sally and Guffey which were more different than Steve was. But, they all had something in common……… they all loved homework. What they loved most about it was that you could take it home.

They get very discouraged about not turning their homework in. Their teacher is very strict and sort of mean, and also yells at them if they don’t turn in their homework. One day, one horrible day, Steve’s dog Barky got very hungry and wanted a snack. So he barked and barked until Steve came home. He came with his study buddies, whom are, Sally and Guffey. Guffey had a picture off dog food on his math workbook, to show probability of course. The dog still hadn’teaten. Guffey and his study buddies, Sally and Steve, had went out side for fresh air. Being the dog Barky is, he climbed up on the table and ate Guffey’s homework not knowing that it was important to him.

After coming in from fresh air break, Guffey had noticed that his homework wasn’t on the table where he left it. Guffey searched and searched and couldn’t find anything, until… He found the paper in the dogs mouth. He pulled it and pulled it and it didn’t come out. ‘Riiippp!” it broke and the dog ate the rest... Guffey was furious and stormed home without saying a word. The next day they came to school he didn’t have any homework for the class and his teacher was wondering where it was because she didn’t see it on his desk. She went up to him and asked Guffey where his homework was and Guffey was speechless. Steve came in on the conversation and said “He’s so quiet because he was at my house yesterday and… I know this sounds crazy but, I didn’t feed my dog when he was hungry and she ate his homework.” The teacher looked at him like he was crazy and she said “ That’s the worse excuse anyone has ever given me!! I’m giving you and your friend a detention.. Sorry…”

“Can we please have another chance?” said Guffey. The teacher was nice enough to give Guffey and Steve another chance. “Where’s your dog?” she asked. “He’s at home. Why may I ask are you looking for my dog?” asked Steve “ Well because” she said “if it wasn’t your fault and it was your dogs fault, then bring the dog to school and he can be punished.” she said reassuring. Steve laughed, and went to the front office and called his mom. When the dog got to the classroom with Steve’s mom, his teacher put a detention in the dogs mouth and sent it to the detention room to write a hundred that he was not going to eat anymore homework. Steve thought “Maybe I should do this all the time..” and smiled at his teacher. Maybe I should do this all the time….
