6000 Integrated Studies Research Report F All 6000 Integrated Studies reports should follow the same proven format. F The work and content will be different. F Current journals should be used (<5 yrs. old) F References should be from accepted authorities F Personal references are unacceptable.

6000 Integrated Studies Report Outline F Introduction F Review of Literature F Methodology F Analysis of Results F Summary and Conclusions F Bibliography F Appendixes

Introduction F Establish the background for the problem F Define the problem clearly F Establish need for the research F Set bounds on research F Establish any assumptions F Explain benefits if problem is solved. F Explain consequences if problem not solved

Review of the Literature F Report on current literature (< 5yrs old) F Recognized authorities -- not friends or co-workers F Literature should relate to your problem F Some findings may support your problem F Some findings may not support your work

Methodology F Indicate how the analysis will be performed F Show sample calculations F Identify what is expected to be found F Allows others to use same methodology to replicate and validate your work

Analysis of Results F Present the results of the analysis F Was the problem solved? F Use tables and graphs if possible to clearly present the findings F Show the findings F Were there any biases? F Are there other findings?
