When beginning work on your enlarger, the first 3 things you should do are: Turn your light to the brightest F/Stop Make your light larger than your proofer Focus your light / image

What are the 2 positions on the Timer Box? T: F: Turns light on, Keeps on while focusing Turns light off, To be activated by timer

How do you move between positions on the timer box? Flip the Switch How do you activate the timer on the timer box? Push the button

Proofers: 8x10, made of glass and have foam inside. They are used for making Contact Proof Sheets.

Easels: 5x7 or 8x10, and made of yellow metal. They are used for making test strips and enlargements.

Emulsion: side of the photo paper is also known as the shiny side, on which the image is recorded.
