Athaliah Deposed The Bible does not treat her as a queen. – No length of reign given – No characterization of reign given – No history of what occurred during her reign is given. The fact of her reign is acknowledged, but never recognized.

Jehoiada’s Restoration Restored Davidic king to throne. (2 Chron. 23:3) Restored the worship of God – Made a covenant between the people and God that they would be His people.
