The Yalta ConferenceThe Yalta Conference  For fully understanding the Cold War, it is essential to understand the impact that the Yalta Conference had upon the post-WWII world. To grasp the significance of the meeting between the three great leaders, Roosevelt, Churchill and Stalin, we need to know what each country stood for and what lengths they were willing to go to see their goals accomplished.
