Tips for Parents Encourage your child to learn through meaningful language, i.e. make use of small flash cards to play games to help him or her reinforce Chinese character recognition Bring your child to the library or book store to cultivate reading habit

Tips for Parents Watch quality Chinese television programme together with your child Make use of objects in your environment such as road signs and advertisements to engage your child in CL conversation
