What is First Aid? First Aid is the quick care given to a person who is injured or suddenly ill.

When do I give First Aid? Sometimes people have accidents, like… Fall to ground and scrape knee Burn finger on the stove Stub toe on a chair Suddenly get sick at lunch Feel like their going to pass out Cuts that bleed Bruises that hurt

Steps in Giving First Aid… 1.Do NOT touch someone else's Blood!! 2. Wash your hands with soap and water after giving first aid!!

More Steps… 3. Do NOT eat or drink while giving first aid. 4. Do NOT touch your mouth, eyes, or nose while giving first aid. 5. Ask an adult if you need help!!
